At times, incorporating CBD into your day to day routine can be difficult. Sometimes we forget or it may just not be convenient to dose from a bottle in a given situation. So, we’ve compiled a list of tips to help you consistently dose your CBD throughout your day.

Eat CBD sweets and chocolate.

Having to satisfy your sweet tooth? Why not have your dose of CBD while you do. CBD chocolate and sweets can be found in a range flavours, forms and strengths across the market. Eating a CBD confectionary at work, on a break or on the go is a super convenient method of incorporating CBD into your day to day, just don’t get too carried away!

Why not make your own CBD chocoloate mousse?

CBD Chocolate mousse

Serves 6-8
Ingredients:
300g dark chocolate
8 large eggs, separated
100g sugar
300g double cream
Hemp Leith CBD oil

Instructions:
1. Place dark chocolate in bain marie to melt
2. Whip the egg yolks and sugar until thick and white
3. Then whip egg whites adding a pinch of sugar until soft peaks appear
4. Whip the double cream as well until you see soft peaks
5. Fold yolk mix into chocolate and add the desired amount of CBD while folding.
6. Now fold in the cream, finally followed by folding in the egg whites.
7. Serve and enjoy!

Why not add CBD to your favourite smoothie?

CBD isn’t the only way to support your health and wellbeing. Infuse your CBD oil into your smoothie after you have made it and give it a stir. You’ll get your daily dose as well all the other health benefits that come with your smoothie, such as vitamins and part of your five-a-day.
You don’t only have to add CBD oil to smoothies, try adding it to your milkshake or even a protein-shake for super effective pre/post work out drink.

Add CBD oil to your salad dressing.

CBD oil needn’t only be added to drinks. Exposing CBD oil to high temperatures, like microwaving or frying which will destroy your CBD. Try adding a generous dose to food after cooking or to cold foods.
Drizzling some CBD oil onto your salad is a great way of incorporating CBD into your daily diet. It’s quick, simple, healthy and won’t disturb the flavour of the salad you’ve prepared.

A light Mediterranean salad

What you need:
A couple tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
1 TBSP of white wine vinegar
1 dropper of CBD oil mixed with MCT
Half TSP of salt
Half TSP of ground red pepper
1 and half tsp of oregano
2 cup of spring mix
2 cups of baby spinach
A cup of roasted red peppers
2 and half TBSP of hemp seeds
2 TBSP of crumbled feta cheese

As a base you can use a ‘spring mix’, usually including a variety of leafy greens as well as a variety of lettuces differing in taste and texture.  In a spring mix you can usually find red as well as green romaine, spinach, radicchio, mizuna, red leaf, red oak leaf, arugula, red and green mustard, red chard, tatsoi, frisse and lollo rosso.

How to make:
Add the extra virgin olive oil, salt, ground red pepper, vinegar and oregano together in a bowl. Mix together, before adding your spring mix, baby spinach, roasted red peppers, CBD oil and toss. Finally complement your salad with hemp seeds, crumbled feta cheese and enjoy!


Try adding some CBD to your coffee.

CBD oil, especially those mixed with a carrier oil containing fatty acids such as MCT, are a simple and great addition to your coffee. An MCT oil, such as coconut oil, is a perfect addition to a morning cup of coffee. It’s essentially flavourless, so it doesn’t alter the flavour of your coffee and the fatty acids bind to CBD protecting it during digestion. Add the desired dose from your dropper, stir and enjoy!

Drink a fizzy CBD drink or CBD water.
